Data can be defined as a collection of facts such as values or measurements. It can be of two types – Qualitative (provides descriptive information) or Quantitative (provides numerical information and can be either discrete or continuous). Once students complete this course they will have a good understanding about data collection, grouping of data and be able to represent data in a manner that comparisons, trends and relationships may easily be visualized.
We provide theory, MCQs and assignments for each individual topic. Click on the topic to know more details.
- Defining data
- Collection and organisation of data—tally bars and tables
- Common types of charts and graphs – bar and line graphs, pie charts
Students will learn the concept of data – both qualitative and quantitative (discreet and continuous). We will also discuss how to collect and organize the data via tally bars and tables. Read more about this course.
